The Porch was the vestibule in front, forming a tower one hundred and twenty feet high. 2. The Holy of Holies was a cube of thirty feet on each side, separated from the Holy Place by a double veil three inches apart. As there was no Ark of the Covenant it contained only a block of marble, on which the blood was sprinkled on the Day of Atonement. 4. The Chambers were rooms for the priests during their service at the Temple. They were situated around the building, but separate from it, and were three stories high.
