N DEGREES [by his second wife, Madeleine de Fontaine, Lady de la Caillemotte, ] HENRI, 1st MARQUIS DE RUVIGNY, Ambassador to England in 1674, (having been on secret missions to that court in 1660, 1668, & 1669)* who (by his wife Marie, daughter of Pierre Tallemant, ) was the father of (1) El1zabeth, wife of Hon. Edward Noel, afterwards 1st Earl or Ga1nsborough, whose children were, (2) Rachel, (1) Henr1, 2d Marquis de Ru wife, 1st of Francis, Lord Vaughan, vigny, Earl Op Galwat. Two Baronesses Digby; Lady Elizabeth Norton; and Wriothesley Baptist, 2d Earl of Gainsborough. The latter had two children, Rachel, Duchess of Devonshire. Catherine, Duchess of Rutland.
