The margins of these books (Nos. 107a.--e.) are ruled in red, the title pages, prefaces, headings &c. are all rubricated. They are bound together in a richly gilt stamped old binding (with elaborate tooling and gilt edges) of particular value. This collection, distinguished by its excellent Roman type, is very rare. Two pages only in the Prayer book (No. 106a.), sign A 3 reverso and A 4 recto (a proclamation), are printed in Gothic characters.
