Review :

"This remarkable handbook compiles in a single volume the best theory, the latest research, and many practical applications on the subject of values and ethics in educational leadership. Notably international in scope, it is a true compendium of the best thinking on the subject from a broad array of scholars."

--Paul T. Begley, Founder of the Center for the Study of Leadership and Ethics, University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA)

"Branson and Gross have developed a remarkably comprehensive handbook exploring ethical educational leadership in an increasingly high stakes and complex environment. Readers are challenged to rethink deep-seated notions about leadership and ethics, and they are treated to a stimulating analysis of the centrality of purpose, fairness, and trusting relationships. The message is clear: ethics is not merely a characteristic of leadership; it is central to leadership."

--Michelle D. Young, Professor, University of Virginia and Executive Director, University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA)

"A veritable 'who's who' of ethical educational leadership scholars and practitioners from around the world! This compendium is timely, comprehensive, insightful, inspirational, and a 'must read' for all educators. It combines great scholarship with practical and actionable guidelines at a time when ethical leadership is a moral imperative."

--Patrick Duignan, Emeritus Professor of Educational Leadership, Australian Catholic University
