About the Author :
Caroline Page was a Desk Officer in the Ministry of Defence in the 1970s. Subsequently she took a PhD at the University of Reading, UK, holding an International Fellowship at Georgetown University, USA, during her PhD studies, before moving to the Foreign Broadcast Information Service in 1984 as an Editor responsible for political information from and on the former Soviet Union. From 1990 to 2014 she was a University Lecturer specialising in foreign policy analysis, with a concentration on propaganda and public opinion, particularly U.S. official propaganda, the Vietnam War, and European government and public opinion. Michael Day was educated at Coventry University, UK, gaining his PhD in 2013. He published an article while still a PhD student, and as an independent academic currently writes an International Relations blog for an on-line newspaper.
