Discharge of Mortgages by Receipt endorsed.--In England and Ireland n receipt in full, signed by two members of the committee, and countersigned by the secretary, and being in the Form A in the third schedule to this Act, or in any other form specified in the rules of the society, if endorsed on or annexed to any mortgage, shall vacate the same and vest the property in the person entitled to the equity of redemption thereof, without any formal reconveyance or surrender (s. 43). In Scotland, a similar receipt, in the form specified in the same schedule, is to have a similar effect (s. 44). Security, by Officers in Charge of Money.--Every officer of a registered society having receipt or charge of money must provide security in such sum as the committee directs (s. 47). Accounts of Officers.--Every officer and every servant of a registered society having receipt or charge of money, or his executors or administrators, must render his account as may he required, and pay over all monevs, etc., to such person as the society or the committee appoint (.s. 48). Disputes; how to be decided.--Every dispute between a member of a registered society, or any person aggrieved, shall be decided in manner directed by the rules of the society, and the decision so made shall be binding and conclusive on all parties without appeal (s. 49).
