A hyperbolic revoloid is one whose vertical sections through its sides consists of two hyperbolas whose vertices are in the plane of the conjugate axes. 20. A hyperbolic pyramid or pyramoid, is one whose base is a polygon, and whose vertical sections through the vertice of the pyramoid, is an hyperbola. This may also be called a vertical hyperbolic semi-revoloid. 21. A circular spindle is a solid generated by the revolution of a segment of a circle about its chord, which remains fixed. c 22.
