Oxytone forms in-e?, nom. masc and fem.--?, are mostly adjectives with masc. aud fem. accus. in-ea. stems jn If m or an early rj (Doric 77, not Doric a) precede 'the 7/?-the accent is paroxytone as in evwBrjs K.t.x., irXrjpvs, Biptjs, rpiijpns (fem. subs.), evrjdrjs, fleyaKrjrrj';, iewpws, iravdXr;?, Ttob(uktjs (whence iroBapKrjs).
