Total, $2,680.03 Three families used milk from the herd which is not accounted for or several calves which were sold at figures as high as $50 each. All the cows are thoroughbred Holsteins with the exception of six, one of the latter, 14 years of age, giving as high as 67 pounds of milk per day right in mid-winter and from 50 to 55 pounds in June. All of the cows are big milkers averaging from 60 to 65 pounds each per day. The amount received each month was for the milk delivered at the milk station in Smyrna village. Mr. Sexton is proud of his dairy and well he may be. Mr. Sexton lives here in Sherburne but has a good man on his farm, Henry Crandall, who is a capita hand and one who knows how to care for stock. Walter says his stock looks much better under Mr. Crandall's care than they did under his own. Walter and wife long for farm life again but we all hope to keep them in Sherburne.
