That for no part or portion of said goods or merchandise has your petitioner ever been paid or indemnified by any one. That the whole amount or value of said goods and merchandise is the sum of four hundred and fifty-two dollars and fifty-two cents, for which your petitioner claims indemnity and payment. Your petitioner therefore prays that he may be awarded and paid the sum above mentioned for the loss and damages by him sustained as is in the foregoing petition set forth. WM. H. P. BRISTOW.
