Review :
Brain and Behavior by Bob Garrett and Gerald Hough is a comprehensive text to introduce behavioral neuroscience to higher ed students. The text is written in clear language, and they take the time to break down neurological processes for clarity. Garrett′s Brain and Behavior is my favorite way to introduce students to behavioral neuroscience. It′s a great text for students beginning to learn about the brain-behavior connection, regardless of their backgrounds. Students find it engaging and easy-to-read, which is a huge plus in motivating them to do the reading!
