About the Book

A heartwarming construction vehicle story about feeling small in a big world.

When the biggest construction machines roll into town, Little Lifty can't wait to be part of the team.

The bulldozers push.

The rollers smooth.

The excavators dig deep.

Everyone seems built for an important job.

Everyone except Lifty.

As Lifty watches the others at work, he begins to question where he fits in. Through his journey, young readers are gently introduced to the idea that being different doesn't mean being less, and that everyone has their own unique strengths to offer.

Lifty is a great book for any kid who loves trucks and machines. There are all different types from loggers to Lifty. More importantly it is a good story to teach kids we all have our own role to play in life and we should not get discouraged trying to find what we are good at.
