Canadian author G.W. Darcie studied at the universities of Waterloo and Windsor before enjoying a long career as a clinical psychologist and couples therapist. He has always been fascinated by people, science and technology, a mix that is reflected in his heartfelt speculative fiction. Former recreational pilot and scuba diver, he's still drawn to sky and water. In 2022, he was awarded First Place, New Voices: General and Literary Fiction (League of Utah Writers), for his first short story, Machine.
