About the Author :
Bin Shao is Professor at the School of International Studies, Zhejiang University. His research interests include language variation and change, corpus linguistics, cognitive linguistics, English lexicology, and digital humanities. He has published extensively in leading journals, including Applied Linguistics, Corpus Linguistics and Linguistic Theory, English Language and Linguistics, Lingua and authored ten Chinese monographs and textbooks.
Yingying Cai is a postdoctoral fellow at the School of International Studies, Zhejiang University. Her interests include language variation and change and corpus linguistics. She has published in journals including Journal of English Linguistics and Linguistics Vanguard and leads a project funded by Ministry of Education of China.
