About the Book

The text provides a comprehensive exploration of fuzzy applications across various domains, including decision-making, transportation problems, infrastructure engineering, inventory management, pattern recognition, Plithogenic sets, hyperbolic fuzzy sets, sustainable systems, reliability, and risk assessment.

  • Explores the implementation of interval-valued fuzzy logic, three-way decision-making techniques, and the HyFS-based aggregation approach for multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) problems.
  • Covers advanced computing techniques and algorithms such as grey-wolf optimization and cuckoo search for fuzzy optimization.
  • Discusses various types of fuzzy sets, including intuitionistic fuzzy sets, picture fuzzy sets, and neutrosophic fuzzy sets, for multi-criteria decision-making techniques.
  • Highlights the application of techniques like the universal generating function and different types of fuzzy numbers for reliability estimation in engineering systems.
  • Presents nature-inspired hybrid algorithms for fuzzy reliability optimization in diverse engineering systems.

Fuzzy Theory Applications in Engineering is designed for graduate students and academic researchers in engineering mathematics, industrial engineering, transportation engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, and communications engineering.
