Review :

"The book addresses the critical challenge of safeguarding forest ecosystems while ensuring their sustainable and responsible utilization. In the present era of accelerating environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, and increasing pressure on forest resources, this work offers a timely, scientifically grounded perspective on forest protection, disease management, and sustainable forestry practices. The authors present a comprehensive overview of the biological, ecological, and management aspects associated with forest health, highlighting the importance of maintaining resilient forest systems for ecological balance, climate stability, and long-term resource availability.
The content is logically organized, beginning with fundamental concepts of forest pathology and entomology, followed by detailed discussions on plant pathogens in forest ecosystems, classification of forest diseases, common diseases of forest trees, nursery diseases, and parasitic plant infestations. The book further examines principles of tree disease control, pest management strategies, and protection measures against insect-induced injuries, offering readers both theoretical understanding and practical insights."
