About the Book

This book offers a comprehensive guide to the principles, design methodologies, and practical implementations of Frequency Selective Rasorbers (FSRs) with a focus on radar cross-section (RCS) reduction for modern stealth technologies. It clears the fundamentals of FSRs and absorptive structures while bridging the gap between theory and real-world application. Through a structured and accessible approach, readers will gain a deep understanding of how to design, simulate, fabricate, and evaluate narrowband and broadband FSRs. The book also explores cutting-edge low-RCS antenna designs co-integrated with FSRs, serving as both a foundational text and a motivation for new research directions. This book: Contains in-depth discussion of the theoretical foundations and classifications of frequency selective rasorbers. Offers a systematic organization of various FSR types across dedicated chapters for clarity and ease of understanding. Presents step-by-step design procedures for both narrowband and broadband rasorber structures. Explains practical insights into RCS reduction techniques, including co-designed low-RCS antenna systems. Provides detailed coverage of fabrication and measurement processes for validating rasorber and stealth system performance. It is primarily written for senior undergraduates, graduate students, and academic researchers in radio frequency (RF), microwave and antenna engineering.

Table of Contents:
1. Introduction. 2. Single Layer Dual-Band Transmissive Rasorber. 3. Single-Layered Flexible Multi-Band Rasorbers. 4. A-T FSR Using Modified Double Cross Slot Bandpass Layer. 5. T-A-T FSR. 6. A-T-A FSR for Low RCS Radiating System. 7. Dual Transmission Miniaturized A-T-A-T FSR. 8. Low RCS Crossed Dipole Antenna Co-Designed with AFSR Structure.
