Denise Cicchella is a Certified Internal Auditor. Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Construction Auditor and an international speaker and author. She is a dynamic educator, passionate trainer, and lifelong learner dedicated to empowering others with knowledge and skills. With years of experience teaching in diverse settings, Denise has mastered the art of turning complex ideas into clear, engaging lessons that leave her students inspired and equipped for success.
Denise's journey as a teacher began with her innate curiosity and love for learning. She taught for several years at a local community college. There she taught college prescribed courses but also contributed to new classes for students to embrace and worked their Saturday Seminars programs. She has also been responsible for creating training material and delivering training to new recruits. She gained the privilege of sculpting new courses thus allowing more variety and expanse to her students.
Her drive led her to become a sought-after trainer in her field, specializing in delivering insightful workshops, interactive seminars, and engaging one-on-one coaching. Whether she's guiding seasoned professionals through advanced concepts or helping beginners build strong foundations, Denise has an incredible knack for making learning enjoyable and accessible.
Denise authored the Construction Audit Guide: Overview, Monitoring and Auditing in 2005. She then co-authored the series Fundamentals of Construction Management, co-authored and acted as technical auditor for Effective Auditing for Corporates and just recently released Construction Audit: Building a Solid Foundation. As a result of the first book, she was offered several international speaking engagements and training programs. She has spoken at large international conferences for the Association of Fraud Examiners, Institute of Internal Auditors, National Association of Construction Auditors, Association of Campus and University Auditors, Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors, Marcus Evans, and private clients.
