About the Author :
FaRose DéVon is a poet, born and raised in East London. She began writing poetry in her teenage years as a form of therapy to express her deepest thoughts. She was encouraged to do so by her mentors & her family as she came from an artistic background & she professionally became a poet at the age of seventeen. The topics may vary from; naivety, personal growth, resentment and true love. Hiroaki Takahashi, also known as Takahashi Shōtei, was a prominent 20th-century Japanese woodblock print artist of the shin-hanga movement, born in 1871 and dying in 1945. He was known for modernizing traditional ukiyo-e with Western-style techniques like atmospheric light, and he created over 750 prints for publishers like Watanabe, many of which were exported to North America. His extensive body of work included landscapes, nature scenes, and depictions of beautiful women, though his woodblocks were destroyed by the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake. Winslow Homer was a leading American painter and printmaker, known for his realistic depictions of the Civil War, post-emancipation Black subjects, and dramatic seascapes, especially those from his Maine home and later trips abroad. He began his career as a freelance illustrator for publications like Harper's Weekly, then became a serious painter of oil and watercolour, developing a powerful style marked by its emotional resonance and focus on the human condition against nature's forces.
