About the Book

'Funny and delightful' - Abby Jimenez, New York Times bestselling author *** Lucy Bowen has sworn off love. After too many failed relationships, she’s over the fairytale – but working at NYC’s biggest romance publisher, Heartwarming, means she can’t escape it. When the company’s bestselling author, Ruby Jones, threatens to leave due to dwindling sales (and a complete lack of inspiration), Lucy’s boss takes drastic action. Her new assignment? Go to a small lakeside town and find the spark for Ruby’s next big love story. Lucy expects picture-perfect charm, but the town – and its grumpy yet extremely attractive restaurant owner, Liam – have other ideas. He’s skeptical of city folk, and she has zero interest in falling for a small-town cliché. But rom-com rule number one? Love finds you when you least expect it... *** Perfect for fans of: Small town romance Books about books Slow burn *** Praise for Cristina Wolf "Filled with humor, charm, and sizzling chemistry" - Stacey Kennedy, USA Today bestselling author “This charming and funny story is the perfect small-town romance. One can’t help but root for Lucy and Liam on their journey to happily ever after.” - Farrah Rochon, New York Times bestselling author *** Readers LOVE How to Write a Rom-Com: 'When I say I couldn’t put my kindle down tonight - I mean it!' - 5-star NetGalley review 'I hope this gets adapted into a movie. It was that good' - 5-star NetGalley review 'A perfect summer holiday read' - 5-star NetGalley review

About the Author :
Cristina Wolf wrote her first book in the third grade. It was an adventure book about her beagle, Abby, complete with hand-drawn illustrations and top-notch handwriting. Needless to say, writing and reading has been a passion of Cristina’s from the beginning. After graduating from Marist College with a double major in Business and English, Cristina pursued a career in the publishing industry while earning her Master of Science in Publishing from New York University. Cristina has experience working at literary agencies and as an editorial assistant at a publishing house. Finding life in NYC a bit different than she expected, Cristina returned to her native New Jersey where she earned her Master in Teaching from Monmouth University. She now shares her love of books with her students as a middle school English teacher. Other than working or writing, Cristina loves spending time with her dogs, Zoey, Winnie, and Mabel, exercising on her Peloton, laying on her hammock with a good book, and planning her next trip to Disney World.

Review :
How to Write a Rom-Com delivers a funny and self-aware story about falling in love with your life and the dreams that motivate us. It's a delight! Cristina Wolf weaves a heartwarming romance filled with humor, charm, and sizzling chemistry The charm in this romcom will have you squealing and kicking your feet. A heartwarming rendition of your favourite small-town romances with a fun twist and a witty cast of characters. I adored it! I devoured this story and fell in love with every character- even Blue the dog! I am now a firm believer in the happily ever now! Equal parts "rom" and "com," Cristina Wolf's debut is a heartwarming story about finding a love that feels like home when you least expect it. I grinned, I laughed, I cried—this small-town romance has it all. A must-read for romance readers who love books about books! A sweet, lighthearted rom com with the perfect blend of humour and heart, and nods to the key tropes and experiences we all love from a classic small town romance. I loved watching Lucy discover her true "happily-ever-now" with the help of sexy small-town-man Liam and find the courage to live it How To Write a Rom-Com is an utterly delightful and charming romance set in a small town I'd die to visit! Such a quick, charming read! I loved the premise of How to Write a Rom-Com from the very start - an editorial assistant at a romance imprint sent to a small town to work on a book idea for a burnt out author? Brilliant. Lucy was such a great heroine. I really connected with her, and her weaning hope in romance being real. Her character arc was done so beautifully, from the eagerness for promotion and frustration to embracing the people of the gorgeously set lakeside town, to falling in love with Liam and realising what she wanted from her own life. The ending had me grinning like an idiot to my Kindle on a plane. Just loved it, such a lovely book. Would recommend to all rom com fans! I adore books about books and this love letter to small town romances was no exception. Filled with charm, humor, and all your favorite tropes, Wolf's heartwarming debut is as glittering as its lakeside setting, and reminds us that sometimes a fresh view is all you need to change your perspective. Sweet, sexy and jam-packed full of wit, HOW TO WRITE A ROMCOM is a must read for romance lovers and anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like to write their own happy ending. I'm off to read it again! Gilmore Girls fans will love this charming, clever spin on a small-town romance! With snappy writing and vibrant characters, HOW TO WRITE A ROM-COM is a heartwarming love story that will leave readers begging for a longer stay in Hudson Hollow. Calling on the nostalgia of classic rom-coms, Wolf’s debut is a worthy addition to that summer TBR! A charmingly meta rom-com that made me smile from ear to ear. This was a joy to read!
