About the Book

The progress of composite materials and material science has transformed several sectors, including aviation, biomedicine, aerospace and automotive industry, medicine, and manufacturing. These advancements have opened the path for the creation of innovative hybrid materials and biomaterials that will greatly improve performance, durability, and sustainability. The introduction of 3D printing and additive manufacturing methods, notably Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), has catapulted these areas to new heights. The book fills a significant vacuum in the existing literature by bringing together disparate but linked topics such as composites, material science, hybrid materials, biomaterials, tribology, machining, optimization, development innovations, synthesis of novel nanomaterials and additive manufacturing. While various publications address specific parts of these domains, this volume is a comprehensive resource that investigates their synergies of the above-mentioned areas. The book will be a useful resource for UG/PG Students, researchers, academics, and industry experts looking to comprehend and use these multidisciplinary breakthroughs to develop novel solutions.

Table of Contents:
Preface. 1. Fundamentals of Composite Materials. 2. Emerging Trends in Advanced Hybrid Materials: Innovations and Future Prospects. 3. Green Nanoparticles for a Sustainable Future: Synthesis, Potential and Applications. 4. Innovations in Biomaterials. 5. Alginate-based Biocomposites for Environmental Remediation. 6. Mechanical and Wear Property Enhancement of GFRP Composite through Filler Addition. 7. Advances in Laser Cladding: Material Trends, Applications, and Future Perspectives. 8. 3D Printing and its Impact on Composite Materials Development. 9. The Rise of Automation: Streamlining Composite Material Manufacturing. 10. Material and Manufacturing Aspect of Flexible Robots. 11. Advancing Circular Economy Practices in Manufacturing: Innovations and Applications in Sustainable Production. Index.
