About the Author :
Dr. B. K. Mishra is a distinguished academician and administrator with over 33 years of experience in teaching, research, and educational leadership. Born in 1966, he holds a B.E. in Electronics from Amravati University (1988), an M.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (1992), and a Ph.D. in the same field from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi (1998). Currently serving as the Principal of Thakur College of Engineering & Technology (TCET) since June 2006, His expertise lies in Communication Engineering and Electronic Circuits, with over 400 publications in national and international journals and conference proceedings. He has authored six textbooks, edited over 20 conference proceedings, and contributed to many book chapters on emerging technologies. Till date Dr. Mishra has guided 20 Ph.D. and 21 postgraduate scholars. A pioneer in academic event organization, he has led over 70 faculty development programs, 49 conferences, and delivered more than 100 motivational talk. His commitment to quality education is evident in his leadership in securing multiple times NBA and NAAC accreditations for TCET, alongside driving its autonomous status. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, and has a Master’s in Computer Applications from the same institute. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the School of Sciences and Emerging Technologies, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala. His research has been recognized at the highest level, as he has been named one of the world's top researchers by Stanford University, USA list of world's top 2% scientists prepared by Elsevier. His areas of research interest include Robotics and Automation, as well as Healthcare Devices and Applications using Machine Learning. He is an active member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) & Fellow member of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) and many more reputed institutions. Sujata Alegavi holds a B.E. degree (2006) and an M.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (2010) from Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, University of Mumbai, India. Dr Yadav, an accomplished researcher, has more than 65 publications in esteemed international journals and conferences, including books, chapters, and papers. Her innovative pursuits extend to intellectual property rights, evident in her publication of 15 patents under IPR India, alongside three granted patents, two UK-granted patents, two Canadian patents, and 2 Australian patents. Demonstrating her expertise, Dr. Yadav has delivered numerous expert lectures, chaired technical sessions, and held board memberships in reputable international and Scopus-indexed journals. Active in cutting-edge fields like blockchain, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data, and cybersecurity, she is also involved in professional societies like IEEE, ACM, IAENG, and ISTE.
