About the Author :
Samuel Chukwujindu Nwokolo is a distinguished figure in the field of renewable energy and climate science activism. With a strong educational background, he holds a Bachelor's degree, a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Physics (renewable energy option), and MSc. Atmospheric Physics/Meteorology (In View). His passion for sustainable solutions and his deep understanding of the environmental challenges we face today have propelled him to the forefront of the movement. Through his extensive research and practical experience, He has become an advocate for renewable energy adoption and an expert in climate science. His expertise lies not only in theoretical knowledge but also in hands-on implementation, making him a valuable asset in the pursuit of a greener future. His dedication to raising awareness about renewable energy's potential to combat climate change is evident through his numerous speaking engagements, publications, and active involvement in various environmental organizations. He has been actively involved in renewable energy and climate science research for nine years. Research covered aspects of Solar Energy, Smart Energy Systems, and Sustainable Development Studies (sustainable cities and resources, building integrated photovoltaics for sustainable architecture). He has published more than 58 research articles in many reputed journals, including Scopus Q1, SCI, and ABDC-A & B category. He is the author of three academic books and a reviewer for Applied Energy, MDPI Atmosphere, Heliyon, Talyor & Francis Journals of International Journal of Ambient Energy, International Journal of Green Energy, and other Scopus Q1, SCI, and ABDC-A & B category journals. He is a graduate student researcher at the Department of Physics at the University of Calabar in Nigeria, where He also instruct graduate students about research and development, renewable energy, and the science of climate change Anthony Umunnakwe Obiwulu is a Nigerian Armed Forces Major General. He is committed to teaching sustainable and smart energy systems in Nigerian military schools of electrical and mechanical engineering located throughout the country. He has now established the SolarWatt Park in Kaduna and Lagos, where vital research on various aspects of solar PV systems is carried out. Solar Energy, Smart Energy Systems, and Sustainable Development Studies were all covered in the research (sustainable cities and resources, building integrated photovoltaics for sustainable architecture). He received both his BSc and Ph.D. in Solar Physics from the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He received his MSc (Engineering Physics) degree from the University of Calabar in Nigeria. The University of Lagos awarded him a postgraduate diploma (PGD) in Computer Science. He has published more than eight research papers in international refereed journals, including Scopus Q1, SCI, and the ABDC-A & B category. Paul C. Okonkwo brings a wealth of expertise to his role as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at Dhofar University in Salalah, Oman. With a special interest in renewable energy, he is dedicated to exploring innovative solutions that address the pressing challenges of sustainable development. Prior to joining Dhofar University, Dr. Okonkwo had made significant contributions to the field through his research and academic pursuits, establishing himself as a respected authority in the realm of renewable energy. Okonkwo is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in environmental engineering, corrosion, failure analysis, tribology, and renewable energy. With extensive experience in academia and industry, Paul has taught at universities and conducted research projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Australia. His innovative approach to problem-solving and his ability to bridge the gap between theory and practice make him a valuable asset in any professional setting. Paul is a highly accomplished and renowned mechanical engineer with an impressive publication record. He has contributed significantly to the field through his extensive research, having published over 12 conference papers, 8 book chapters, and more than 70 research articles in prestigious journals such as Scopus Q1, SCI, and ABDC-A & B category. His work has been recognized for its quality and impact. In addition to his academic achievements, Paul holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria. These qualifications have provided him with a strong foundation and expertise in his field. Paul's dedication to his research has been acknowledged by various agencies and governments that have awarded him millions of dollars in competitive grant funding. This financial support not only highlights the significance of his work but also demonstrates his ability to secure resources to further advance his research goals. Okonkwo is a highly accomplished postdoctoral researcher at Qatar University and Deakin University. With a strong focus on innovation, he has become widely recognized as a renowned speaker, having delivered over 12 impactful keynotes and more than 15 invited talks. Paul is highly regarded for his work and has received recognition for his contributions. He has been awarded the UNESCO/CHINA: The Great Wall Fellowship Award as a Senior Research Scholar, further highlighting his expertise in the field.
