About the Book

Linguadynamics(R)--"Language Power!"--The Sci-Art of Effective Self-Expression for Winning Life's Riches and Greater Rewards is presented in a series of seven-books collectively called The 7 Gems of Winning. Each book in the series is named for a particular gem stone. The first book in the series is The Diamond Gem of Winning. The remaining six books are the Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Amethyst, Topaz and Pearl Gems of Winning. (TM) The cover of each book in the series is the color of its gem stone.

The 7 Gems of Winning present the authors' new, trademarked methodology of language-usage called "Linguadynamics." (R) "Lingua" refers to "language;" "dynamics" to "power." Linguadynamics(R) means "language power."

The Gems provide ingenious Linguuadynamic Techniques that instruct, train, rehearse and groom readers in using the "language power" of Linguadynamics(R) to become more effective in communication, presentation, and self-expression, more successful in social situation, business transactions and personal endeavors. Linguadynamic Techniques s(R) instill unshakeable confidence, imperturbable assurance and unruffled composure when communicating and interacting with others, making presentations, pursuing objectives and fulfilling aspirations.

The authors of the series are Dominic J. Potts, Esq., J.D. and his wife Mena E. Potts, MSW, Ph.D. Author Dominic Potts is a retired award-winning, precedent-setting medical-legal trial attorney with doctoral studies in classical rhetoric, dialectics and forensics conducted under a doctoral fellowship granted by the University of Pittsburgh.

Author Mena E. Potts has a masters degree in psychiatric social worker and was awarded the first ever doctorate in The Psychology of Dreams and Dreaming. She developed the first Mental Health Service in Jefferson County, Ohio, developed the first Head Start Program, first Community Action Council Program and first Family Services Professional Counseling Service in Jefferson County, Ohio.

While litigating against powerful insurance companies on behalf of his clients, the author Dominic Potts employed classical rhetorical principles from his doctoral studies and developed his new methodology of language-usage in order to become more persuasive in his arguments to the court and final summation to a jury. The authors' trademarked language-methodology, "Linguadynamics," proved that during internecine litigational warfare with financially-powerful insurance companies, "Language power eclipsed financial power."

About the Author :
Author Dominic Potts, Esq., J.D. is a retired award-winning, precedent-setting medical-legal trial attorney with doctoral studies in classical rhetoric, dialectics and forensics conducted under a doctoral fellowship granted by the University of Pittsburgh. Along with his wife and co-author, Mena E. Potts, Ph.D., he has written, lectured and spoken extensively before professional groups-including an annual meeting of international scholars from around the globe-at public gatherings and teaching seminars, lecturer at Egan Institute [now subsumed by Franciscan University]. The author is a classically trained musician. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years as a musician, graduated from The Navy School of Music in Washington, D.C. and played first chair trumpet in the Navy Symphony Orchestra at the time. While conducting doctoral studies in classical rhetoric under a fellowship granted by the University of Pittsburgh he was appointed Assistant Director of the Pitt Debating Team, which won regional honors that year. Following his doctoral studies in classical rhetoric the author entered the practice of law as a medical-legal trial attorney, specializing exclusively in the representation of clients injured in auto, bus, train and plane accidents as well as those sustaining injuries from pharmaceutical products, defective products, medical malpractice and hospital negligence. In each case-regardless of the type of injury sustained-the author had to battle behemoth insurance companies that represented the responsible party. While litigating against powerful insurance companies possessed of awesome wealth and power the author employed classical rhetorical principles when drafting legal briefs, presenting arguments to the court and delivering final summations to juries. Adopting rhetorical principles from his doctoral studies the author developed a new methodology of language-usage he called Linguadynamics in order to become more persuasive in his legal arguments and summations. He coined and trademarked his methodology Linguadynamics, which means language power. In the course of his internecine litigational warfare with financially-powerful insurance companies Linguadynamics proved that Language power eclipses financial power, as it enabled the author to win precedent settlements and awards for his clients. Using the author's new methodology of language-usage, Linguadynamics, readers can now impress, bond and persuade in order to win what they desire and deserve, but not previously possible or just beyond reach.
