Review :
Think Tiny to Make Changes Today I had the opportunity to read "The Magic of Thinking Tiny" prior to it's official release and feel as though I got a jump-start on some very useful and actionable ideas. Author Jim Walker has cleverly compiled a large amount of data - both scientific and philosophical - and presented it in a very digestible way. Each chapter is very well written and approachable. Walker has a uncanny way of making his prose come alive, whether it's using super-heroes as a conceptual analogy or describing the Wright brothers' approach to aeronautical design; I found myself very vividly "seeing" these scenes in my mind. He keeps the book moving, combining nuggets of science, history, pop-culture and philosophy to prove his point that tiny changes do indeed lead to very big transformations in business, or life in general. I particularly liked the "Tiny Take-aways" at the end of each chapter, which help summarize the key concepts into one sentence action items, along with the reference notes and web links for further exploration on the topic at hand. If you find yourself "stuck" or looking at a project or initiative that seems overwhelming, I would urge you to read "The Magic of Thinking Tiny" to help you look at the problem in a different way. Each of us can change our life staring this very minute - in the tiniest of ways - and this book is a great catalyst for our better future. - Robert T. Cooper This brilliant book is an outstanding source for not only self-help ... This brilliant book is an outstanding source for not only self-help issues, but a sustainable solution for problem solving resources in the business world as well. Staying true to its concepts, Mr. Walker has divided all the chapters in the book into short 'tiny' sections, which makes the book extremely easy to read and follow. At the end of each chapter, there are key takeaways, giving the reader a summarized section to reinforce the tips and tools contained in that particular segment. Peppered with countless examples, tools and techniques for a more productive existence, I would highly recommend this book to those who want to gain perspective and insight on how to rapidly increase motivation, deter negativity, and increase razor-sharp focus and awareness in their day to day lives. - Angela Dalmas A Must Read For All Business Executives If you have ever struggled to keep motivated and focused, then this is the book for you. It turns out that Thinking Tiny helps tackle the biggest challenges, and Jim provides dozens of tips and examples for how to accelerate your projects and your life. Not surprisingly, his writing style is tiny and to the point. Read this book - you'll be happily surprised how tiny changes unlock big results. James Miller
