About the Book

Were you in actual military combat today (and you may be), you would be highly focused on preparing for the next fight, doing everything possible to stay alive and accomplish your mission. While not diminishing the unique experiences of warriors engaged in military conflict, the reality is all of us are in combat, we are all "at war." Your battles may be different from mine, but we are all warriors. As warriors, we fight¿ we get wounded (suffering), we bounce back (resilience), and we fight again (reengagement). That is the human condition in a fallen world. This Resilience God Style Study Guide will guide your application of Resilience God Style precepts and practices in order to achieve this readiness, particularly the spiritual readiness, which the battles of life require. This Resilience God Style Study Guide is your tool to accomplish the above. From my own life experience, I can testify that I have not always been a good steward of the knowledge and life experiences God has brought my way. Time and again I have seen that knowledge and experience become useful only when they are properly integrated into the context of my life; in essence, personalized. Such personalized application of knowledge is essential to attaining true wisdom and avoiding the pitfalls of staying "on the sidelines" as a hearer, but not a doer. This Resilience God Style Study Guide is simple in concept, but potentially life changing. It provides "processes" by which you can reflect and record your specific attitudes, applications, and actions as you allow God to transform you from the inside out.
