About the Book

DEATH IS ON THE LINE. In Three A.M. Wake-Up Call, the third installment of the Terror Project series, death comes calling in unexpected ways. "Chew Toys" by Nick Cato When Son of Sam killer David Berkowitz was arrested in the summer of 1977, he told the cops the neighbor's dog had ordered him to kill. The police didn't believe him. They should have. "Clinton Road" by Rob Watts After the breakup of her marriage, Melissa escapes to a solitary cabin in West Milford, New Jersey. But her new address is on Clinton Road, a stretch notorious for spawning stories of ghosts, cannibals, and satanic sightings. Are these tales simply urban legends, or will Melissa succumb to the curse of Clinton Road? "Roons" by David Daniel A middle-aged schoolteacher reminisces about his past as he drives to his hometown to attend a funeral. A strange request from the deceased's daughter keeps him in town longer than he'd planned . . . just long enough to uncover the grisly secrets his old neighborhood has kept hidden away for years. "Who needs a phone call? These stories kept me up all night!" Author Ryanne Strong

About the Author :
DAVID DANIEL was born in Boston. He is the author of many novels, including the prize-winning Alex Rasmussen private eye series (The Heaven Stone, The Skelly Man, Goofy Foot, and The Marble Kite-all St. Martin's Press). Other books include White Rabbit, a novel of the 1960s, and Reunion. His short fiction is collected in Six Off 66 and Coffin Dust. NICK CATO is a New York author who has edited the anthologies Dark Jesters (with co-editor LL Soares) and The Gruesome Tensome: A Short Story Tribute to the Films of Herschell Gordon Lewis. Nick has had fiction published in many anthologies and websites, and writes a nonfiction film column for both Cinema Knife Fight online and the recently revamped Deep Red magazine. Nick also oversees things at the long-running fanzine/website The Horror Fiction Review, and hosts the Suburban Grindhouse podcast when he's not walking his two dachshunds. ROB WATTS is an award-winning writer of suspenseful fiction. Since his 1996 debut release, Playground of Illusion, Watts has consistently written twist endings and deplorable characters whose intentions and motivations are frightening and evil, a running theme in all his books. Between 2011 and 2014, The Crooked Roads through Cedar Grove was released as a limited edition, three-volume novella series, each containing soundtrack albums composed by Watts. The full-length novel was released in 2015 as a limited edition hardcover with an accompanying soundtrack album on CD and vinyl. His novella, Americana, was released in 2016 as a limited-run, playable vinyl album book cover edition. Americana earned the 2017 Acknowledgment of Excellence award from the 60th annual New England Book Show. Charms, a collection of suspenseful short stories, was released in 2017.
