About the Book

"As our world faces a water shortage like no other time in history, will young Grayson Fields' science skills and determination make it possible for her to bring rain to a parched world? Readers quickly become involved in a realistic scenario that traverses the planet from D.C. to India and the Himalayas with greedy billionaires, security secrets, and dangers that affect the world's water supply. Thompson brings to life this plausible world in such a way that readers will not only be engrossed in the outcome of an elaborate setting but will find the science of climate manipulation thoroughly intriguing-even vital to our survival." D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Review.

About the Author :
He's the murder mystery author who coined the phrase Christian Murder Mystery, and proudly displays it on the cover of his Solo series--tantalizing murder mysteries filled with chilling explorations of hypocrisy, true faith, and good versus evil. Or, as Publisher's Weekly describes them, "Entertaining, high-energy murder mysteries." Michael was a successful ad agency owner, winning numerous national and international creative awards. After selling his firm, Thompson & Company, in 2011, he turned his attention to full-time writing. His latest novel, CLOUDS ABOVE, is now available in hardback, paperback, and Kindle. Disciple Design's team has created award winning identity programs for ultra large corporations and small businesses. Their book cover designs are legendary.

Review :
"Our editorial staff found Thompson's latest novel to be yet another example of his master storytelling craft. If you like being in the middle of the action and not taken down rabbit holes or force fed overly descriptive scenes and places, you'll love this book. Thompson has taken facts of an extremely serious environmental problem and woven them into a plausible, almost certain world ahead. In fact, it doesn't read like science fiction. It reads more like reality. Be prepared." Cindy Coopwood, Editor-in-Chief, DELTA Magazine. "While this may be science fiction, it could actually happen. That's just one of the things that makes it intriguing. Thompson weaves believable characters, both good and greedy, along with dangers throughout the story. Plenty of intrigue and new-found knowledge about our water future kept me in the story the entire way. This is a new genre for Thompson and once again he knocks it out of the park." Susan Reichert, former Editor-in-Chief, Southern Writers Magazine, current editor of Suite T, and author of Storms in Life and other books. "The surprising twists and turns of Thompson's intriguing sci-fi mystery had me cheering for the well-developed main character, Dr. Grayson Fields. Her journey whets my appetite for plausible solutions to our planet's dilemma we face in the not too-distant future." Dr. Shirley Raines, president emerita of The University of Memphis, and author of 12 novels, including, An Uncommon Journey: Leadership Lessons.

A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
