Will you after you read this nightmare inducing thriller with its surprising twisting endings?

Review :
Filmmaker and writer Richard W. Haines delivers another ripping horror tale in What Really Frightens You III, the latest in his line of "24-Frames-Per-Second" thriller novels. Filled with an abundance of filmic knowledge, homages and references to Haines' own previous works (including his cult classic 1984 flick Splatter University and his 2001 film noir homage Unsavory Characters), What Really Frightens You III (subtitled Triple Threat of Terror) see the return of Nick Slade, young New York filmmaker with a penchant for getting himself mixed-up in mystery and murder of both the real and supernatural kind. Our nemesis this time around is Alistair Bradach, a mysterious street vendor who hawks GPS tracking systems at a price that is too good to resist, though the real payment comes later and at a much greater price, as Bradach's discount device sends its owners off the beaten path and into a grisly twilight zone of madness and mayhem. Like Goosebumps for grown-ups, What Really Frightens You III proves that Richard W. Haines does indeed know what compels us to keep those lights on at night, and he does it in a way that should please those who appreciate the art of the paperback original and enjoy their scares delivered with a knowing wink. John Harrison (Author, Reel Wild Cinema!, Rolling With the Punches: The Marneen Fields Filmography and Wildcat!: The Films of Marjoe Gortner)
