Even with the help of another field ops team and a close connection with a local doctor at the hospital, will Rye and Libra get to the bottom of the mystery, not to mention come to terms with the increasingly intense emotions they share, without losing their lives? Dolphin Shore Shifters Book Three, Dangerous Tide by C.J. Matthew is an excellent continuation of the stories involving the work of a very public organization hiding an amazing secret. The characters are extremely well developed with a depth of emotions and physical abilities, and the action is intense as they fight their own demons to work together to not only solve a crime, but to save their lives. Realistic dialogue, just the right amount of vulnerability, and terrific sex scenes keep the pages turning as you fight the clock along with the heroes to see how everything is going to turn out. The story line stays strong in this third volume and leads you eagerly back to the book store for the next installment. I really enjoyed it and was thrilled when I got to the end and saw that there are actually two more volumes! I have become invested in the SBW mission and the happiness of the team!

Facing down her fears is not as easy as she thought and, in spite of putting his team at risk, Peal, the leader of the transfer team, is willing to stand by her. Full of compassion for the wild dolphins that switch out with pod members, Katie is a valuable asset to the team, but must earn the respect of the other team members who have recently dealt with turmoil in the parent organization, Save Blue Water. While policing the seas for illegal dumping, some SBW operatives have been compromised and the trouble follows them to the transfer sites in Florida. Will Peal, Katie and the team accomplish their goals or will unknown assassins interfere with their work? C.J. Together, it provides plenty of reasons to enjoy this great story and look forward to what happens in volume three.
