Together, they struggle against overwhelming odds and the unlimited resources of their powerful enemy in their race against time to rescue Francesca and reunite her with Dan. Spirits is the culmination of Dan and Francesca's inner struggles to define their identities. It links together events from Walls, Faces, and Angela's Eyes that span thirty years and three continents, and ultimately exposes a deeply-entrenched conspiracy of sexual harassment and abuse. Spirits is both a romance and a psychological thriller that brings the suspense-filled roller coaster ride of The Survivor Trilogy to a satisfying end. But most of all, Spirits is a tale of affirmation - a story where the spirit of love, optimism, and mutual cooperation eventually triumphs over hatred, negativity, and the need to dominate others.
