About the Author :
Jade Edgal was born a feminist in Alberta, Canada, where she staged her first public protest at the age of five---refusing to wear a shirt because the boys in the neighborhood didn't have to. After being shut down by a powerful group of moms, she staged her next protest in Brownies by refusing to wear The Skirt, but lost the battle and was banned from her pixie tribe. She laid low for a number of years but took up the cause again when she entered the corporate world where, to date, she's been fired fourteen times for telling her male-chauvinist managers to stick it. She used to write in her spare time, but now that she's basically unemployable she's at it full time. This is her first published book which focuses on feminism, humor, unfiltered opinions and stupid stuff she's done over the years. There's more where that came from.
