About the Book

A Magic Hat Is Like A Loaded Gun: You Never Want It In The Wrong Hands. When Jeremy discovers he can make hats that let the wearer do anything they want, he sells them to try to save the family store. But after people start getting hurt, the town sheriff forbids Jeremy from making any more hats. When a dark and mysterious magician named Modesto comes to town for unknown reasons, he finds out Jeremy can make hats that do real magic. He promises to save Jeremy's family store in exchange for just one hat. What could go wrong? But Modesto keeps the hat and doesn't save the store. Worse, the magician uses the hat to control the people Jeremy loves, eventually taking over the entire town. Jeremy is alone and must figure out how to beat a man who has unlimited power. The Hatmaker is a middle-grade story by Seth Wilks, told with humor and imagination. If you enjoy fast-paced action, shapeshifting Were-Rabbits and kids fighting to save the world, then you'll love The Hatmaker. Is Jeremy strong enough to stop his own magic? Get the story now to find out.
