About the Author :
Mike Royden has taught History for over 30 years, and has also lectured on numerous courses in local history in the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Liverpool. He has written several books, and has made regular appearances on radio and television including Radio 4's Making History and BBC's Heirhunters, as well as filming with Hollywood star Kim Cattrall discussing her Liverpool roots for Who Do You Think You Are? He also appeared on the programme featuring Gareth Malone in the same series, and with Ricky Tomlinson in Blitz Cities.
