About the Book

If you're after that juicy summer read - look no further! Fans of Call The Midwife, Hotel Babylon or The Real Housewives Of...Wherever, will love Billion Dollar Babies. Once sworn to secrecy, high-class nanny Harriet Templeton lifts the lid on the fascinating, hilarious and scandalous lives of the super rich. Slimming diets, dangerous pets, personalised jumbo jets - and that's just for the children! A real-life peek into the lives of the ultra wealthy - where money doesn't always buy common sense ...Harriet is a British nanny who has helped rear some of the world's most privileged babies. It is a job that has taken her around the globe - from Saudi princesses to the children of models, Russian billionaires, TV personalities, famous rock music producers and investment bankers. She travelled on private planes, luxury yachts, received a 4x4 to run around in and designer handbags for overtime. Now, after twelve years working inside the homes of the staggeringly wealthy, she gives a unique insight into how the other half lives. Never mind the children, often she played mum, dad and counsellor to their parents! Join Harriet as she struggles to find a prettier giraffe for a birthday party, convince a neurotic new mum that she can't sack all the sexy young staff from her flirty husband's luxury yacht and stop a model from feeding her baby slimming milk. From hedge fund manager bosses ordering prostitutes and drugs for all-night parties, to a bank executive who left her newborn twins behind at the shop, Harriet has seen it all.

About the Author :
Harriet Templeton: Harriet Templeton is the pen-name for an English childcare specialist with twelve years' experience of working with clients and their families around the world. In order to protect the privacy her clients and their children, Harriet has disguised her identity and those of her former employers but all her eye-popping stories are true. From her first posting with an aristocratic family in England, she worked for two wealthy families in the UK before landing a job as a nanny for an Arab princess. Future roles included caring for the children of an investment banker in London, a music producer in New York and a Russian billionaire. As Harriet was to discover, being a nanny was only half the job description. Given the nature of her clients, she often had to supervise the grown-ups too and was trained in surveillance, anti-kidnap techniques and dealing with the paparazzi. ... Douglas Wight (co-author): Douglas Wight is the author or ghostwriter of nine non-fiction books, and is the co-founder of 22five Publishing Ltd, whose first book Hot Right Now: The Definitive Biography of Rita Ora was published in October 2015.He has been a journalist and writer for twenty years covering news, features, politics and investigations. He has reported on world news events including the Dunblane massacre, the legacy of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine and the aftermath of the World Trade Centre terrorist attacks. A former reporter for The Sun newspaper, he has also worked for the New York Post and was a celebrity interviewer and books editor for the News of the World.
