About the Book

Killing Timber is an action packed, political science fiction novel set in a desolate, dystopian future. The year is 2250 and humankind is on the edge of extinction. With only two tribes left an uneasy peace is maintained, until an outbreak occurs and these societies are thrown into a gruesome and grotesque battle for their own survival. Killing Timber, The Outbreak is the first in a series of dark, dystopian novels which are set in the future, where due to war and disease the earth has begun to fail, with very few animals or vegetation being sustained. It is a political fiction, and a dystopian science fiction which juxtapose two distinctly different ways of life against each other. Hawkins a young man from the outlands, a chaotic, anarchistic environment, finds himself struggling against the might of Raul, the leader of the sanitized, sterilised and organised domes. As the societies collide many will die, as they become fixed in a fight, not only for their people but also a fight for their way of life. And in the end Hawkins' will be forced to take on the merciless might of the citizens' government, as new allegiances are drawn and old secrets are rediscovered.
