Charles Power is the Editor-in-Chief of the Employment Law Practical Handbook. He is also a partner in the Employment and Industrial Relations department of Holding Redlich, and has practised in employment and industrial relations since 1992.Charles has a strong practice representing employers in all aspects of employment and industrial law and is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a workplace relations specialist. He is a member of the advisory board to the Centre for Employment & Labour Relations Law, the University of Melbourne and the Australian Human Resources Institute.Charles is a former associate to a Senior Deputy President of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and a former adviser to a Federal Government Minister. Charles has Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics (Honours) degrees, both from Monash University. He was the joint winner of the Industrial Arbitration Prize in 1992.
