The ScreamBed Chronicles: The last days of playas & other insecure men

The ScreamBed Chronicles is a book of essays and poetry. The essays chronicle different relationships and other intimate encounters from the author's past. Some of the essays deal with the author's earlier days as a cheating man whore, the dynamics of interracial relationships, avoiding love and commitment while getting as much sex as possible among others. Several women were interviewed in one essay about their cheating experiences as a reminder to guys in denial about how good woman cheat when they do. The poetry is scattered throughout the book and their themes range from love, sex and the erotic. Some men will find the tone of this book disturbing, maybe because of a perceived assault on "male values" or that the author is pandering to women as a doorway to getting them; but the many men who are great husbands and boyfriends will not be offended by the straight talk about men's behaviors in relationships.

About the Author :
Ari's passion for writing started around age fourteen, when he developed a love for creating songs. In his mid teens, he started writing poetry with a focus on social issues, girls and his every day life. His first written story was a horror story influenced by one of his all time favorite movies, "The Shining". The story, according to his mother, was so scary, that she had trouble sleeping after reading it. Over the years, Ari wrote many short stories/ poetry with subjects as varied as life in the future, abortion, religion/spirituality, more social issues and surrealistic excursions into the absurd. As Ari became more health conscious, he decided that he needed to put what he was learning about health and nutrition into a convenient and simply written guide. "The New Millennium Health and Nutrition Guide: Death of the funky fork and the plates of pain. " was written and published in 2000. The book was a success, selling out all copies within a couple of months. As early as the mid nineties, Ari had the idea of ScreamBed in place. Over the years, he'd been a self-described relationship counselor for countless friends and family, after making the connection with the many unhappy women and unfaithful, blatantly disrespectful men, he had an epiphany about his own past disrespectful and cheating ways. He decided that women needed more men celebrating and respecting them. Coincidentally, he'd already written several essays and poetry tying the cheater, relationships and woman liberation themes together, this material was the beginning of ScreamBed. ScreamBed doesn't feel like a self help book, but it can empower, it doesn't feel like a psychology book, but it simplifies the psychology of relationships. Ari's goal in writing ScreamBed was so that his daughters and other countless girls and women didn't have to sacrifice happiness, freedom and even their own lives because of being "caught up" with the wrong guy.
