About the Book

When you move heaven and earth to get what you want, be prepared for all hell to break loose. Val Timmons lost one knight in shining armor and thought she'd found another. But after she married Kurt, she found that she'd landed a rusty tin man instead. She'd given up all hopes of ever finding happily ever after, especially when he kept postponing her dream of having a child. When his pregnant mistress showed up at the door, Val soon learned that Kurt was set to have the family she'd always wanted--just not with her. Making things more complicated, Val found a way--without her husband's cooperation--to conceive the baby she felt she deserved. All that took place while Kurt was buying himself time to right his own wrongs before they came to light and caused him to lose his wife altogether. But pointing the finger at his mistakes is not a luxury Val can afford. She also has something to hide, and they will both learn one valuable lesson: there's no right way to do a wrong thing.

Review :
"After being married for two years, Valencia Timmons is finally expecting the child she's always wanted. Unfortunately, her husband, Kurt, knew nothing about it. But he has one up on Val--his mistress is already pregnant and sends a message to Val to inform her of that unhappy fact. All hell doesn't just break loose; it runs down the street, hops a bus and drives straight off the planet. Topped with the fact that Kurt's business is crumbling and he's stabbing Peter to throw some coins Paul's way, this is the last thing Kurt needs. Val, troubled by this ugly turn of events, still has memories of her wonderful first husband, Hunter, whose unexpected death in Indonesia made it difficult for her to open her heart again. Now, Kurt's multiple lies cause a breakdown of their marriage, and family secrets start unraveling faster than a loose thread on an old sweater. Once again Val wonders if she'll ever be happy. Colorful and adoring characters like Dwayne, Melva, and Uncle Bubba (who proves that just because there's snow on the roof, that doesn't mean there isn't a fire in the furnace), and villains like Whitley and Foster (who personally needs to be castrated and placed under the jail), make this novel one of the most engaging and cleanest reads to date. No Right Way To Do A Wrong Thing will take you on an enjoyable ride you won't want to get off." Shannan Harper, Harper's Court Literary Blog and writer for NK Literary Cafe Magazine. "I truly enjoyed No Right Way To Do A Wrong Thing! This book dang near took my breath away. A definite best seller in my opinion. Amazing job! I've been reading it walking, on the bus, and at work with the book by my computer." Christine Pauls, author of One Good Thing and writer for NK Literary Cafe Magazine. "Once I started reading No Right Way To Do A Wrong Thing, it was hard to put down. For a first time novelist, Janice Pernell created characters who you can identify with. The characters in this story overcame adversities by adjusting their perspectives of the situation and then turning it around to something positive. This story has hope, redemption and forgiveness all wrapped up in one. I particularly liked how the author gave us a little history on tribes in Indonesia while putting a little spin of her own on it. If this book is the inception of what's more to come, I will be waiting for more great storytelling from this newfound author." Pamela Arthur Townsend, author of House Devoid of Love
