2012 Elections: Independents Hold the Key

It 's often difficult for voters to determine which candidate best reflects their interests because of all the lies, false promises, and unfounded attacks made during the course of campaigns. As long as voters follow the conventional ways of selecting candidates, the gap between the wealthy/ special interest groups and the vast majority of middle class and poor Americans will continue to widen, making a government for the people that much more difficult to attain. There is one fact I discovered in my research that can revolutionize elections and create a permanent government for the people beginning this November, which is that on all critical votes affecting their party 's core values, Republicans in the House and Senate vote as a bloc. That means that the seemingly moderate Republican candidate once elected will join his or her most far-Right legislators to foster the extreme Republican agenda. That fact in turn leads to an optimal voting strategy where you elevate your focus from each individual race to the party level, learn what both parties have done in the past and what they are planning to do in the future and decide which party best represents your interests. Once you have made that decision, you need to vote for all candidates from that party on the ballot. As part of the process of understanding both parties, you must separate the truth from the lies. The book provides you all the data you will need for the analysis. I have painstakingly attempted to only use unbiased sources for the data, neither favoring the left nor the right. Some things you will discover are that the Democratic Party has consistently fought for the needs of the people. It has created Social Security, Medicare, universal health care (Obamacare, ) minimum wage increases, environmental protection, and government regulation to protect the people from unscrupulous business practices. The Republican Party, on the other hand, is mainly concerned in reducing taxes on the wealthy. They also plan to kill or drastically reduce all the programs the Democrats created over many decades to help the people. For the first time, the masses have the ability to control its own destiny by creating a government that will fight for the people. We need to take advantage of the opportunity before it 's too late.
