Review :
Great Story for Families: Climbing the Upside-Down Tree: An African Tale of Adventure, Courage, and Unconditional Love by Charles W. Page is a fantastic story for families to enjoy together. The story focuses on a young boy and through him we are able to learn many lessons about being a man, being a father, and being a son. The illustrations do a great job of bringing the story to life, and the variety of animals will get young readers to love reading and engage them in the story. I read this with my six-year-old son, and he really enjoyed it. I can see this being a great way for families to bond or as a read aloud bedtime story. (Phil Bolos) Heartwarming: A heart-warming book Dr. Charles W. Page's Climbing the Upside Down Tree: An African Tale of Adventure, Courage, and Unconditional Love is a book everyone will love. With beautiful illustrations by Georgia Page, the book tells the story of a father and son and their bonding through folktales and activities. I especially liked how simple the story was but yet how much emotion it managed to portray. It really is a sweet tale that is both entertaining but also instructive and thought provoking but on a child's level. I feel like it's a marvellous book for children to read to encourage them to not be afraid to ask their parents for help and love whenever they feel the need. Martha Custis A great Children's Book: "Climbing the Upside Down Tree" by Charles W. Page is an amazing book that will not only entertain you and your child, but also teach you both many things. I'm talking about things such as: healthy family relationships (especially between father and son) but also family values in general as well as a bunch of things about African culture. This is just a great children's book that combines fun with actual content and smart wisdom. I can really recommend it! Especially if father and son read this together it will make them bond in a way not many other things can. The author did a mesmerizing job on this one!" Sanya Jacaranda
