About the Book

Four medicolegal musketeers are stumped by the unbelievable resurrection of the antichrist 6 days, 6 hours, and 6 minutes from the time of the assassination. Fortunatius distances himself from his former faith healers in his relentless rise to ultimate and absolute power. He proclaims himself God, deliberating the decree from the doctored documents of the Codex Fortunatius, claimed to be found among the authentic Dead Sea Scrolls. Mankind must come to love him as the saviour, denouncing the Bible and God Almighty himself and His son Jesus Christ. Denying him means certain death. The calm before the storm, a brief period of peace, is followed by fierce resistance of the faithful few scattered around the globe. The entire planet is brought to the brink of destruction as the Ezekiel Option is exercised. The forces of good and evil converge on Jerusalem drawing nearer the final confrontation. Unimaginable death and suffering follow in the final days for the citizens of the plagued planet earth. Dr Gum, Emily, Francesca, and Umberto face insurmountable obstacles as they persuade to lead the last few survivors out of Jerusalem to the safety of Petra, the ancient city promised to protect the faithful few who flee the frightening power of the antichrist.

About the Author :
Bernie Unrau a dentist and doctor by training, stumbled across a four minute video back in 1989, an interview with the prolific Robin Cook, a physician by training. Cook's mastery of the medical thriller inspired Unrau to embark on a 2nd career. The central character in Unrau's novels, Dr Gum, is part bumbling lieutenant Columbo, part deductive Sherlock Holmes, part Dr. Ryan from Tom Clancy's novels, and part curious Indiana Jones. Unrau brings some of his years as a dentist, lecturer, and inventor to light by engaging in espionage, elucidating an enigma, disclosing a dastardly or diabolical scheme, or dreaming up a formidable frightening future. Unrau currently resides in Calgary, Alberta.
