About the Book

Bunyip:

Digger receives a cryptic email from Mirren, a Wiradjuri girl working in the Riverina district of New South Wales, alerting him to mysterious cattle mutilations near Yanco Creek. Intrigued by the possibility of extra-terrestrial involvement, Jax persuades the team to investigate for a Next File story. Their destination: a heritage farmhouse notorious for a grisly triple murder attributed to a mythical creature-the bunyip-according to Mirren. However, Doc proposes an alternative theory involving crocodile attacks, despite the region being far from crocodile territory. As tensions mount in the eerie, electricity-free house, the Next Files team finds themselves facing their most chilling ordeal yet.

HellHouse:

Amidst the euphoria of their TV show's triumph, the Next Files team is thrust into a nightmare at Atomic Studios. When a metal song's hidden incantation invokes demonic terror, chaos erupts, and the record producer Beano becomes a vessel for malevolence, embarking on a murderous rampage. Digger arrives to a scene of horror, where even the police struggle to comprehend the supernatural truth. Determined to confront the unspeakable evil lurking within the music, the Next Files team embarks on a perilous quest, navigating a labyrinth of darkness and danger. With each step, they uncover sinister secrets and face unimaginable horrors, racing against time to banish the demon before it claims more innocent lives. In this heart-pounding tale of terror, every shadow conceals a malevolent force, and every sound could herald the arrival of something beyond comprehension. Brace yourself for a chilling journey into the depths of Hellhouse, where the line between reality and nightmare blurs, and the true meaning of fear awaits.
