These first 2 books in the series Loved Back to Life, , reveals Pearl's personal search for meaning and purpose in a life today, when death was the only option she thought existed. She wanted to believe in hope buried very deep in her heart, but that meant trusting in a God she no longer believed. She had survived her traumas and SRA abuses from family and cults through a survival mechanism for the soul/ spirit known as Dissociative Identity (Disorder or DID). Learning why God allowed this is the point of her autobiography...not the mechanism but the Person. She cries out to God through Jesus, to explain why she should stay alive carrying the memories of abuse, pain and suffering that still controlled her life, unless He would or could heal her with a reason and will to continue. How God brings healing to all in her system of people... culminating in one living today is poignantly revealed in her journaled conversations from the beginning, to understand God's love for her and all of His children. She shouts, denies, gives up, submits, obeys and most importantly, chooses to trust in God's love to overcome her fears and live renewed. As seen in the introductions in each book, God's desire is to give back hope to all who have lost it and empower each of us to rise above our circumstances in life with His eternal love living within and through us.
Books Out of the Darkness: Part One & Part Two are chronological in her search for understanding and depict in drawings and text the evil still there in memories controlling choices and God's requests of them to trust Him to heal her/them in His time as they are ready and as He chooses for them, not as the world defines what healing is or how each one desires it for themselves. Questions like: How can you say I'm worthy of your love after everything I've done and what's been done to us/me? If I've done them then how can I not be guilty? How can I forgive or be forgiven? Can you explain clearly how our suffering can be used for good for others...why me? How can I serve you knowing that the healing never finishes and suffering will continue on your path for me ahead?
Books 2 & 3 Becoming Pearl & The City of Hope continue the process of discovery, acceptance and trust to reach where they are today, as one person on the path Jesus has put before them... revealing how the answers to life's questions need repeating in the midst of struggles to eventually trust in God and not in our own understanding. The drawings and text reveal their struggle to believe in who God is, what He wants for her, and in the reality of the Kingdom of God around us, in us and in the heavens. She knows that there is nothing new in her revelations about the Lord that hasn't already been declared in the Scriptures for everyone but prays these books will remind people still suffering alone that He is there with them... as hope in the future becomes a growing reality to accept each day as her heart aligns with God's heart.
Book 4 still waits to be revealed and lived, hoping to inspire other authors who are currently writing their autobiographies for the same purpose of helping those without hope in life to find it as they did by understanding this truth "For I know the plans I have for you, ' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope." Jer:29:11.

Chalberg is pastor and cofounder of Shepherds Care Ministries home-based in Gilbert, Arizona. He offers 3 primary areas of ministry; Pastoral Counseling & Mentoring over the Internet and privately; Christian Renewal as an Intentional Interim Pastor & Consultant; and building Community Outreaches out of churches. He worked in the interim ministry for 23 years offering renewal and healing to troubled communities of faith as a pastor/consultant using conflict resolution, leadership training, restoration of Biblical Disciplines, instruction in spiritual warfare and deliverance ministry, and establishing prayer teams as the foundation for all ministries to support a laity-empowered church to the broken-hearted of the world. He has been in ministry for 44 years. The past 26 years he has specialized in pastoral counseling to survivors of ritual abuses; Clergy Abuse, sexual abuse, Satanic Ritual Abuse, Human Trafficking of Minors and other abuses like incest, pornography and Domestic Violence which can result in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder (a.k.a. MPD) and other trauma induced issues in adults and children. Some of his clients gave permission to publish their spiritual journeys of healing with him in the first book series entitled, "Shattered People: Journeys to: Joy (2003) Love (2005). Their stories include his commentary as counselor, pastor, friend and fellow traveler. Now, 17 years later, SCP is adding another series "Loved Back to Life" with autobiographical books from various authors telling their stories of surviving severe abuse and trauma with Jesus' power & love to heal and redeem...true stories as revealed to Pastor Mike since 2003 to encourage healing for all. He began this free counseling service as an extension of ministries started in 1989 to include an Internet based chatroom weekly reaching an international audience in need of counseling for ritual abuse and trauma. Here, both survivors and the people who care for them can come together for the soul purpose of learning about God's methods of spiritual healing in the midst of spiritual warfare, alongside of the SCM staff and fellow survivors on their healing journeys. He provides a 'virtual' church office atmosphere. Topics discussed include personal histories and experiences in the healing process, spiritual warfare, deliverance ministry and the development of spiritual gifts for survival. Private counseling is given as well via emails, private chat rooms, phone and video conferencing. He moved his ministries in 2010 to Arizona to create Starbright Foundation Inc. with partners in ministry focusing on children/minors caught up in human sex trafficking, by providing free support for rescues, protection, counseling, safe-housing and education to heal the traumas they endured. SFI expanded to include training of law enforcement, first responders, school systems, childcare workers, foster parents, churches, families and social groups... anyone who will listen about how to get involved in intervention and prevention of this criminal industry. He and his wife, Carol (SCM cofounder), are graduates of Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California. He has a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling and Carol has a Master of Arts in Theology.
