About the Book

Have you ever wondered how it is possible to understand the prophecies of the Old Testament "Book of Daniel" and how they apply to end-times (the times in which we live)? If so, then "Daniel" is the book for you. This is a unique book the reveals the Structure of "Daniel". Structure is the key that the prophet Daniel has presented to unlock the Bible. "Daniel" expounds the prophecies in four distinct visions of how, from Daniel's day onward, God has revealed the rise and fall of the seven earthly kingdoms many centuries in advance. A great Jewish prophet Daniel wrote a remarkable book in ancient times (sixth century B.C.). His name was Daniel, a young handsome man with no physical defect. One of the many Jews taken captive into Babylon around 600 B.C., following the destructive Babylonian invasion of Israel, God gave Daniel wisdom and skill in understanding all dreams and visions. Many of the prophecies in the "Daniel's" book have already have been fulfilled, and in remarkable detail. In fact, one of Daniel's prophecies, concerning the downfall of King Belshazzar, came to pass the very night the prophecy was made (Dan. 5:17,26-28,30,31). Daniel 1:17 states: "As for these four young (Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah) men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams." Because of the astounding accuracy of the fulfilled prophecies in the "Book of Daniel", many skeptics have found it hard to refute the fact that he so accurately foretold the future before it happened.Even the Bible prophecies concerning the Messiah were fulfilled (including, for instance, most of "Daniel" 2 and "Daniel" chapters 7, and 8). Not only that, the "Book of Daniel" has been found in the oldest Greek Bible translation, the Septuagint, and in the Dead Sea Scrolls, dating back to the second and third centuries B.C. before many of the events predicted took place! Without question, some of the prophecies included in the "Book of Daniel" rank with others in the Bible as being paramount in giving clear knowledge and understanding about the future of Israel and of our world. For these reasons, this book is not only timely but required reading for all who care to understand the part played by past world empires in fulfilling prophecy as well as what is ahead for Europe, America and the rest of the world! The purpose of this book, therefore, is as Jesus said, "And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe." "John" 14:29. "Take heed that no man deceive you." "Matt." 24:4.

About the Author :
Charlene Fortsch's interest in prophecy began at a very early age. Ever since she first heard about those beasts in the seventh chapter of "Daniel", her curiosity was aroused to know what they represented. Over the years, she attended lectures and study classes, always searching for the application of Prophecy and how it fits her own generation. This search also included the New Testament "Book of Revelation". In the year 2000 she was introduced to the third Prophetic Book in this series - the "Song of Songs" (otherwise known as the "Song of Solomon"). As she began to study these three books together, the prophetic picture began to unfold. At the same time, she became acquainted with the Rules and Principles of Prophetic Bible interpretation. Realizing that prophecy is as a science, with its own jardon and codewords, she realized that it must be studied using its own unique rules. Once the rules are understood they must be applied, carefully and consistently, to each prophetic message. Studying prophecy in this manner brought to light the application of past and future prophetic events. As Charlene learned, she began to share with many friends, printing out simple booklets with pictures and Scripture. She thought about writing a book on prophecy, to help others understand what she had been learning. When her friends and family heard of this desire, they encouraged her to write a book on prophecy in a way that would be simple enough for even a child to understand. Charlene invites you to join many others in this fascinating study of Daniel's prophecies.
