About the Book

The dawn of history saw Rulers discover "you must have a god to do war, pillage and conquest." Moderns have perfected this practice. I hope to end any hope of an American/Christian Empire and encourage people of all nations to rip God out of ALL war and political combat! By 1947 the United States, the greatest nation in history, was poised to lead all people into world community. Instead we opted to connive for self-prosperity and commer¬cial conquest. We gave up the gospel of goodness for the gospel of greed. We sing: "God Bless America," while our military kills innocent people, some torture and rape. Families and religions betray our young to a ruined future. Our money is inscribed "In God We Trust;" our pledge testifies "a nation Under God;" yet we act like thieving hellions on a rampage. The Jesus Book introduces, the most peace seeking man in history. Once you've met this "REAL" Jesus; hear "What he REALLY said" and witness "what he REALLY did," you'll recognize most religions support war and sell out to powerful, rich coteries. Never again will God's name (Allah, Bondye, Jehovah, Krishna, Christ...) underwrite a killing spree and "God and Country" will not justify looting other's resources. Here is an opportunity to abandon greed as our national standard. Read Jesus' words many hidden for centuries, condemning pretend houses of wor¬ship that praise warrior--empire building gods; while ignoring the trashing our beautiful planet to get CHEAP goods and make BIG profits. TJB strips corporate/financial enslav¬ers of their stolen Messiah. My generation has pulverized America's image of light for the world, a "The City on the Hill"--we "killed it dead: " exchanged for hideous glut, overcharged lives of physical and mental obesity, all executed by trashing Jesus' life. Let's end the religious--political--military--corporate memes that encourage us to fake the Holy, while living in godless religions that are destroying humankind!
