Questioning the Boundary Issues of Internet Security' brings together a convenient empirical research that has attempted to answer these questions. The chapters are chosen for their clarity, relevance, timeliness, and emphasise the connection of Internet technology with the world in which it is used. The human nature has led itself to the Internet, with the belief that whatever and whoever can be reached without thinking of distance and time, at minimum cost and high value for money, but the unlimited wants of our nature and technology advancements have been delimitation to Internet revolution. The principle aim of regulating the Internet is to create a legal framework within which all transactions can be secure and intellectual property rights are protected. The chapters in this book should be accessible to professionals, postgraduate and undergraduate students. About the Author :
Charles Adetokunbo SHONIREGUN, has taught in many universities and colleges in the UK and abroad. He is a member of the research committee at the School of Computing and Technology and an elected member of the University of East London Academic Board. He has degrees from the University of East London, and a professional member of the British Computer Society (MBCS), Chartered Engineer (CEng), Information Risk Management and Audit (IRMA), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), IEEE, IEEE Task Force on E-commerce, IEEE Technical Committee, Fellow of the Institution of Analysts and Programmers (FIAP) and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce (FRSA). He has also undertaken consultancy for various industrial sectors at the global platform and has over 15 years experience in the telecommunications industry. He is a guest speaker to many universities in the UK and abroad on issues relating to his research and consultancy area. His research interests are in the fields of Internet security, risks assessment of technology-enabled information, electronic and mobile commerce (emC), telecommunications and applied information systems. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal for Infonomics, an author, co-author, visiting and distinguished visiting professor in "Applied Internet Security and Information Systems", and External Assessor to many universities. Ioannis P. CHOCHLIOUROS, is a Telecommunications Electrical Engineer, graduated from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, holding also a MSc. & a Ph.D. from the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris VI, France. He worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University Paris VI, in cooperation with other European countries. His practical experience as an engineer has been mainly in Telecommunications, as well as in various construction projects in Greece and the wider Balkan area. Since 1997 he has been working at the Competition Department and then as an engineer-consultant of the Chief Technical Officer of OTE (Hellenic Telecoms S.A.), for regulatory and technical matters. He has been strongly involved in major OTE's national and international business activities, as a specialist consultant for technical and regulatory affairs. He currently works as the Head of Section for Technical Regulations of Division for Standardization & Technical Regulations, and as a special Assistant to the Chief Officer for Technical Affairs of OTE's Group of Companies. He has been involved into different European and international projects and activities, while he has published various scientific and business papers & reports. He has also participated into many international Conferences, Workshops, Fora and other events, some of which as an invited speaker - official OTE's representative. Blandine LAPERCHE, Assistant Professor -Economics Laboratoire Redeploiement Industriel et Innovation, Universite du Littoral Dunkerque- France. Alex LOGVYNOVSKIY, is a Software Engineer, graduated from Kharkiv State University of Radioelectronics, Ukraine. He has published many research papers and currently a research candidate in computer science at the School Computing, Information Systems & Mathematics, London South Bank University. He is a member of the British Computer Society (BCS); Association of Developers and Users of Intelligent Systems (ADUIS), an affiliated society of European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence (ECCAI); and Network of Academics and Professionals (NAP), a section of European Distance Education Network (EDEN). His research and consultancy areas are in Semistructured Data Mining, electronic commerce (eC), intelligent agents, XML and Web-based Information Systems. Anastasia SPILIOPOULOU-CHOCHLIOUROU, is a Lawyer, LLM, Member of the Athens Bar Association. Since 1992 she has gained extended experience as a lawyer, while she has been involved in various affairs. Her LLM's post-graduated degree, from the Athens University Law School, has been taken place with specific emphasis given to the investigation of the multiple regulatory aspects related to the Internet (infrastructure, services, software, content). During the latest years, she had a major participation in matters related to telecommunications & broadcasting policy, in Greece and abroad, within the framework of the Information Society. She has been involved in current research and business activities, as a specialist for E-Commerce, Electronic Signatures and other Information Society applications. She currently works as an OTE's (Hellenic Telecoms S.A.) lawyer-collaborator for the Division of Procurement and Services' Contracts of the Legal Department of OTE Group of Companies
