About the Author :
Peter Freeth is Director of Communications In Action (www.ciauk.com) - a leading business coaching consultancy that helps unlock potential in business. With a mix of business, communication and technical skills and a curiosity in learning and developing new tools, Peter helps others get the results they want, more easily and more often. Peter joined the Telecoms industry in 1985 and since then has worked for companies that include Cable & Wireless, Siemens and BT. At BT, he ran a corporate NLP practice group and grew the membership of that group from a few dozen up to around 600 in 3 years. That group now exists as The Skills Network (www theskillsnetwork.com) and continues to provide career and personal development workshops to a professional audience. Peter's business background - including technical, consultancy and solution sales roles - combines perfectly with his training and coaching experience to create a blend of business and personal skills that is quite unique in the field of NLP training. Peter set up his own training, coaching and consultancy business around 3 years ago, primarily to enjoy more personal freedom. His style is a unique hybrid of training and coaching, built upon a belief that individuals are already able to do 99 per cent of everything they need to be successful. Therefore, the job of a good trainer is not to pour information in but to align and refine those existing skills and talents to generate outstanding results. For high achievers in any organisation, time is far more valuable than money. By focussing on the single change that will make the biggest difference, Peter helps his clients get the results they want, more easily and more often. Originally from the West Midlands, Peter now lives Warwickshire where he enjoys making the most of that personal freedom with his family.

Review :
"Peter is one of those coaches that has a real knack for 'getting under the skin' of an organisation's or an individual's problems and helping the client create new solutions in an amazingly short time. His 'Six Questions' open up whole new ways of seeing the wood for the trees - and whether you actually want to be on the beach! This is one of the most practical toolkits I have found for opening up thinking and creating new possibilities." David Nicoll, Marketing Director "The one to beat: best author I've come across over 6 years of NLP interest. Peter has an ability unique amongst his peers: an appreciation of the requirements of my business that goes beyond artificial mirroring and empathy. Peter's style is so effective I cannot imagine going back. His writing is emphatically recommendable for professionals aiming to work with technology AND people. Stripped of the brouhaha of coaching jargon, delivery is light hearted and memorable. I find myself returning again and again to the topics to overcome very tangible issues. Significantly, the concepts in his book have enabled me to accelerate on my career road map. The first NLP coaching author I've bought that's achieved that feat." Jerome Thircuir - senior business analyst Investment Banking
