Papers of the Langford Latin Seminar 14 contains (in revised, usually enlarged, and annotated form) papers presented at Langford Seminars of the Department of Classics of The Florida State University over the years 2004 to 2008, together with supplementary articles contributed at the request of the editors. The papers in the section Health and Sickness in Ancient Rome mostly derive from the Spring 2008 Conference organised by Miriam Griffin as Visiting Professor and holder of the George R.
