About the Author :
Charlene Gannage has been active in the women's movement in Toronto since the early 1970s. She teaches sociology at the University of Windsor and is a post-doctoral fellow at York University.

Review :
"In Double Day, Double Bind, Charlene Gannage combines testimonies of worker's experience with analysis that presses against the existing confines of both Marxism and Feminism. This is a book about class, ethnicity and gender not as fixed an abstract categories but as lived and living relationships between people including the author." - Sheila Rowbotham, author of Hidden History
